Activities
At Camp Twin Creeks, programming is at the core of everything we do over the course of each 2 week session. Mornings are carefully and intentionally planned by our Program Director to ensure that campers have well-rounded activities, and that each camper gets to try every core activity offered at camp.
Camp Twin Creeks Core Activities
Unlike specialty camps, we embrace a well-rounded approach, providing opportunities in sports, arts, and wilderness adventures. Our goal is to inspire campers to explore new interests and discover hidden talents, all while trying something different from what they might experience at home.

Optional Activities and Off-Site Trips
In addition to our incredible on-site programming, we’re thrilled to offer these additional optional activities:
Horseback Riding
While Camp Twin Creeks isn’t exclusively a horseback riding camp, we offer a unique opportunity to enhance your camper’s summer experience with our horseback riding program. Designed for both beginners and intermediates, our lessons are a fun, safe, and enriching way to connect with these awesome animals. Campers ride five times during their tw-week session, creating a special bond with their horse while gaining valuable skills.
Under the guidance of our experienced instructors and program head, campers begin by getting to know the horses in the stables and in our riding ring. As campers build confidence and skill, they continue to move through basic riding techniques, and go on to explore the scenic trails around camp. Horseback riding at Camp Twin Creeks is more than just an activity—it’s a journey that fosters respect for animals and boosts self-confidence, making your camper’s summer truly unforgettable.
White Water Rafting (Rising 10th + 11th graders)
Our oldest campers have the opportunity to experience the thrill of a full day White Water Rafting on the New River, which runs right through the stunning New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. This optional off-site adventure offers campers the chance to navigate exhilarating rapids, swim in calm pools, and explore iconic spots like the New River Gorge Bridge. Along the way, campers learn about the region’s history and enjoy a riverside lunch prepared by your guides. This trip is perfect for those oldest campers looking to add an unforgettable day of excitement and natural beauty to their summer experience!
