Meet Our Team

Meet our Leadership Team!

This team is the true difference maker throughout the year and during each summer. With a combination of 115+ summers of Camp Twin Creeks experience and a background of excellence from other great camping and outdoor institutions, Amy and Iain are proud to work alongside these inspiring individuals!

Iain McClements Director

At camp since 2001, Iain works year-round at Camp and is Dad to Harrison, Finnley and Blake. With a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and 25+ summers of camp experience, Iain truly loves camping and what it provides to children at Camp each summer. Iain coached youth soccer at many levels in his spare time and also loves to run, cook, eat and entertain!
Amy

Amy McClements Director

At camp since 2001, Amy is ‘Mum’ to Harrison, Finnley and Blake.

With her Masters in Education and as the business owner of a Kindergarten Enrichment Program, Amy provides us with a wealth of child oriented knowledge.

Amy is also the driving force behind our Nature programs, a key creator of our Youth Development Philosophy, and loves leading campers on hikes through the National Forest!

Hannah

Hannah Schacht Head of Community

Hannah started at Camp Twin Creeks as a camper in 2010, joined the seasonal staff in 2017, held positions in seasonal leadership, and now works for Camp Twin Creeks full-time. Graduating with dual bachelor’s degrees in Global Liberal Studies and Spanish, Hannah has a passion for human rights and children’s rights. Her experience growing up at Twin Creeks both as a camper and staff member situates her as a great resource for campers, parents, staff, and alumni as the Head of Community.

Jeff

Jeff Rocco Head Counselor of Middles and Staffing

After 12 summers with us over the course of 16 years, Jeff joins the team year round to ensure our staff meet the highest standards in all respects. Jeff has enjoyed a professional background that is colorful and varied, including Disney World, various Youth Theater programs, premier day camps and an ongoing pursuit of a degree in play and theater therapy. A campfire at Twin Creeks is not complete without Jeff and we’re so fortunate to have him with us!

Lisa Gargiulo Summer Programming Director

Lisa has been a part of the Camp Twin Creeks staff since we opened in 2001! Holding various positions over the years, Lisa has established herself as our Summer Programming Director. She is responsible for daily programming, special events, and so much more. Lisa, and her dog Otis, live outside of Philadelphia during the rest of the year, where she is a teacher.

Fun fact: Lisa competed on Jeopardy! In 2023!

Powers

Katie Powers Burgmeier Dream Week Director

Katie (AKA Powers!) has been an invaluable part of Camp Twin Creeks for the last 15 summers.  She graduated from ASU with a BA in Elementary Education. While originally from Arizona, she has enjoyed many unique teaching experiences in recent years!  Be it tutoring on a ship around the world, in an RV across the USA or at a play based preschool in Philadelphia, Katie has always had a passion for working with children and being outdoors. When Katie is not at camp you can find her watching a Diamondbacks baseball game or in the mountains skiing!

Camp Dog Chloë lays in the grass

Chloë Homesickness Prevention Officer & Director of Naps

Where to begin? Chloë, a Hungarian Vizsla by birth, dominates the summer terrain of Camp Twin Creeks and is often seen running up and down the many acres of camp. You can also find her chasing Mountain Bikes for several hours everyday before collapsing in an exhausted heap. Chloë also serves as our official homesickness prevention pet for those campers that might be missing their 4-legged friends from home.

Camp Dog Ember sits in the grass

Ember Director of Mischief and mayhem

Our newest addition, Ember has been with us since August 2021 and is excited to be at Camp again in 2025. Another Vizsla to keep Chloë company, we’re all excited to see what kind of trouble and mischief Ember gets into. Be sure to keep your cabins and porches tidy or you’re likely to find a flip flop or cap on the other side of camp with Ember next to it.

Our year-round team is joined by an exceptional seasonal staff in the summer months. Learn more about the Staff Experience and Summer Roles!
